Terms of Service

Introduction

Welcome to Jaimo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Jaimo website, mobile app and AI content tools (together, the "Service"), provided by Jaimo Ltd("we", "our", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number [company number to confirm]), registered office 25–29 Sandy Way, Yeadon, Leeds LS19 7EW, United Kingdom.

By accessing or using Jaimo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Services Provided

Jaimo is an AI-powered content system built specifically for hair professionals. It helps you generate scripts, plan content, build Voice Profiles and research high-performing material through a subscription-based service.

2. Account Creation

To use Jaimo, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete account information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

Jaimo is recommended for users aged 16 and over. We do not apply a strict age restriction, but if you are under 18 you should use Jaimo with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any charges.

Each subscription is for one user. Your account and subscription are personal to you and may not be shared with, sold or transferred to anyone else.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscriptions, Billing and Renewals

Jaimo is offered on a paid subscription basis. Current standard pricing:

  • Pro — £11.99 per month
  • Pro Max — £24.99 per month
  • Yearly billing — pay for a full year and receive a 20% discount on either plan

Prices are shown in your local currency where supported, and otherwise in GBP, and exclude any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change our standard prices from time to time; any change will apply from your next renewal, and we will give you reasonable notice.

Free trial

New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the 3-day trial ends, you will be charged automatically for your chosen plan and your subscription will begin.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date:

  • Monthly plans renew each month. You must cancel before your next monthly renewal date to avoid being charged for the following month.
  • Yearly plans renew each year. You must cancel before your annual renewal date (the end of your paid year) or your subscription will renew for another full year.

Turning off renewal and cancelling

You can opt out of automatic renewal at any time using the option in your account profile. When you turn off renewal or cancel, you keep access to the Service until the end of your current paid period. Cancelling stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund of charges already taken, except where you are entitled to a refund under applicable law.

How payment is taken

Payments are processed by our payment partner, Stripe. Where you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, renewals and any refunds are handled by that store under its own terms, and you may need to manage or cancel your subscription through your store account.

4. Founding Member Pricing

Founding member places are limited to the first 100 subscribers on Pro and the first 100 subscribers on Pro Max. Founding members receive a locked-in lifetime rate:

  • Founding Pro — £4.99 per month for life
  • Founding Pro Max — £9.99 per month for life

The founding member offer is:

  • Limited to the first 100 subscribers on each plan (Pro and Pro Max) who activate a founding member subscription
  • Tied to a continuously active, uninterrupted subscription
  • Non-transferable to another person or account
  • Subject to the Service remaining available

Important: if your founding member subscription is cancelled or lapses for any reason, you permanently lose the lifetime founding rate. It cannot be reinstated. If you wish to rejoin afterwards, you will need to sign up at the standard subscription price then in effect. We reserve the right to withdraw the founding member offer once all 100 places are claimed.

5. Your Consumer Rights

Jaimo is available to users internationally. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, and wherever you live you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own country. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a legal right to cancel certain contracts within 14 days. Because Jaimo is a digital service supplied immediately, by starting your trial or subscription and accessing the Service straight away you acknowledge that supply begins at once. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, we will honour it.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use Jaimo lawfully and in accordance with these Terms
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the Service
  • Not use Jaimo to create content that is defamatory, misleading, unlawful or harmful to others
  • Not abuse, harass or deceive other users or the Service
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security or access controls

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Licence to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms and your payment of subscription fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Jaimo for your personal or professional content creation.

8. Your Content and Intellectual Property

Your content

Scripts, Voice Profiles, drafts and other content you create inside Jaimo belong to you. You retain full rights to use, publish and monetise this content.

Our software and platform

Jaimo — including its software, algorithms, interface, design system, documentation and all related intellectual property — belongs to Jaimo Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

9. Trademarks and Brand Rights

"Jaimo", the Jaimo name, the Jaimo logo and wordmark, and all related brand assets and trade dress are the trademarks and property of Jaimo Ltd. These marks may not be used, reproduced, copied, displayed, modified, distributed, registered or incorporated into any product, service, content or material — anywhere, in any medium — without the prior written permission of Jaimo Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right or licence to use our trademarks or logo. We will enforce our trademark and brand rights to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. AI-Generated Content

Jaimo uses AI to generate content, and AI can make mistakes. Content generated by Jaimo is based on inputs you provide and the AI models we use. You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing AI-generated content before publishing it
  • Ensuring content complies with applicable laws
  • Ensuring content does not infringe anyone's rights
  • Any consequences of publishing AI-generated content

AI can produce inaccurate, biased or misleading output. Always review content before use.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

We are committed to protecting both your data and the integrity of our platform. Your personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using Jaimo, you also agree to that policy. In turn, you agree to keep your account credentials secure, to use any data you access through the Service responsibly, and not to extract, copy or misuse data belonging to Jaimo Ltd or other users.

12. Feedback

If you give us feedback, suggestions or ideas about the Service — including as part of any founding member or testing programme — you grant us a free, perpetual, worldwide right to use that feedback to improve and develop Jaimo, without any obligation to you.

13. Service Availability and Changes

We work hard to keep Jaimo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, change, suspend or remove features, and may carry out maintenance, at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.

14. Support

Support is available by email at support@jaimo.io. We aim to respond within two business days but do not guarantee specific response times.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud or misuse the Service. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings — cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund of prior charges except where required by law.

Upon termination, your access to the Service ends and your content may be deleted in accordance with our data retention practices.

16. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jaimo Ltd, its directors, officers, employees and affiliates from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.

18. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms will first be addressed informally by contacting us at support@jaimo.io. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, the dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect your statutory rights.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer laws that apply in the country where you live.

20. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets; you may not assign your rights without our consent. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Jaimo Ltd regarding the Service.

21. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
